Johanna's current research interests focus on issues pertaining to sexual coercion, particularly among sexual minority groups. Specifically, she is examining perceived outcomes of experiences of sexual coercion among gay and bisexual men as well as exploring avenues and barriers to disclosure of these events. Ongoing interests and research include scale development for racial identity salience, multiple-minority identity and experience, and mixed method analysis.
